At TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris Johannesburg, we noticed that some clients would brief their above-the-line campaigns into the agency, bt would take their design requirements elsewhere. Our task was to remind our clients about our dedicated design department, and prove that we could do great work on their briefs. To truly showcase our design capabilities, we would have to innovate the DM medium to another level. Our idea was to intercept existing briefs. However, rather than answer the brief in the traditional manner, we used the actual physical advertiisng brief as our canvas. Each brief was then transformed into an intricate, multi-dimensional design piece, relevant to the brand. We then sent our clients' briefs back to them, proving that TBWA\Design can do amazing things with their briefs.
